【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofdeterminingthecompressivestrengthofhydrauliccementandothermortarsandresultsmaybeusedtodeterminecompliancewithspecifications.Further,thistestmethodisreferencedbynumerousotherspecificationsandtestmethods.Cautionmustbeexercisedinusingtheresultsofthistestmethodtopredictthestrengthofconcretes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthecompressivestrengthofhydrauliccementmortars,using2-in.or[50-mm]cubespecimens.Note18212;TestMethodC349providesanalternativeprocedureforthisdetermination(nottobeusedforacceptancetests).1.2Thistestmethodcoverstheapplicationofthetestusingeitherinch-poundorSIunits.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3ValuesinSIunitsshallbeobtainedbymeasurementinSIunitsorbyappropriateconversion,usingtheRulesforConversionandRoundinggiveninStandard,ofmeasurementsmadeinotherunits.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warning8212;Freshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
