【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsformaterials,construction,andperformanceofcomponentsintendedforuseinfixedfoamfirefightingsystems,andusingfoamconcentratesconformingtoEN1568-1toEN1568-4.Thecomponentscoveredare:proportioners,sprayers,semi-subsurfacehoseunits,branchpipes,low/mediumexpansionfoamgenerators,highexpansionfoamgenerators,foamchambers,tanksandpressurevessels.MethodsoftestaregiveninannexesAtoK.Requirementsarealsogivenfortheprovisionofthecharacteristicdataneededforcorrectapplicationofcomponents.NOTE1Unlessotherwisestatedpressuresaregaugepressuresexpressedinbar.Therequirementsofthisspecificationdonotcover,exceptwherestated,theuseofcombinationsofcomponentstoformpart,orthewhole,ofafirefightingsystem.NOTE2Itshouldnotbeassumedthatcomponentsconformingtothisspecificationarenecessarilycompatibleonewithanother.Requirementsforpumps,motorsandthefunctioningofmechanicalcomponents(i.e.remotecontrolturrets)areoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.
