【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesamethodfordeterminingtheinhibitionofthegrowthandreproductivecapabilityofhigherplantsbysoilsundercontrolledconditions.Twospeciesarerecommended:arapid-cyclingvariantofturniprape(BrassicarapaCrGCsyn.Rbr)andoat(Avenasativa).Thedurationoftestshouldbesufficienttoincludechronicendpointsthatdemonstratethereproductivecapabilityofthetestplants.Byusingnaturaltestsoils,e.g.fromcontaminatedsitesorremediatedsoils,andbycomparingthedevelopmentofthetestplantsinthesesoilswithreferenceorstandardcontrolsoils,thetestcanbeusedtoassesssoilquality,especiallythefunctionofthesoilasahabitatforplants.AnnexAdescribesmodificationsallowinguseofthechronicplantassayforthetestingofchemicalsincorporatedintosoil.Bypreparingadilutionseriesofatestsubstanceinstandardcontrolsoils,thesameendpointscanbemeasuredtoassessthechronictoxicityofchemicals.Thismethodisnotapplicabletovolatilesubstances,i.e.substancesforwhichH(Henry’sconstant)ortheair/waterpartitioncoefficientisgreaterthan1,orforwhichthevapourpressureexceeds0,0133Paat25°C.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheestimationofthenetheatofcombustion(megajoulesperkilogramorBtuperpound)ofaviationgasolinesandaircraftturbineandjetenginefuels.ThistestmethodispurelyempiricalandisapplicabletoliquidhydrocarbonfuelsthatconformtothespecificationsforaviationgasolinesoraircraftturbineandjetenginefuelsofgradesJetA,JetA-1,JetB,JP-4,JP-5,JP-7,andJP-8.Note1TheexperimentaldataonheatofcombustionfromwhichtheTestMethodD3338correlationwasdevisedwasobtainedbyaprecisionmethodsimilartoTestMethodD4809.Note2Theestimationofthenetheatofcombustionofahydrocarbonfuelisjustifiableonlywhenthefuelbelongstoawell-definedclassforwhicharelationbetweenheatofcombustionandaromaticandsulfurcontents,density,anddistillationrangeofthefuelhasbeenderivedfromaccurateexperimentalmeasurementsonrepresentativesamplesofthatclass.Eveninthiscase,thepossibilitythattheestimatesmaybeinerrorbylargeamountsforindividualfuelsshouldberecognized.Thefuelsusedtoestablishthecorrelationpresentedinthismethodaredefinedasfollows:Fuels:Aviationgasoline-Grades100/130and115/145(,)Kerosines,alkylates,andspecialWADCfuelsPurehydrocarbons-paraffins,naphthenes,andaromaticsFuelsforwhichdatawerereportedbytheCoordinatingResearchCouncil.AlthoughthetestmethodpermitsthecalculationofnetheatofcombustionineitherSIorinch-poundunits,SIunitsarethepreferredunits.Thenetheatofcombustioncanalsobeestimatedininch-poundunitsbyTestMethodD1405orinSIunitsbyTestMethodD4529.TestMethodD1405requirescalculationofoneoffourequationsdependentonthefueltypewithaprecisionequivalenttothatofthistestmethod.TestMethodD4529requirescalculationofasingleequationforallaviationfuelswithaprecisionequivalenttothatofthistestmethod.UnlikeTestMethodD1405andD4529,TestMethodD3338doesnotrequiretheuseofanilinepoint.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
