【摘要】:Thedefinitionsandproceduresformeasuringshapecharacteristicsoftinmillproductsareprovidedsothatpurchasersandsuppliershavecommonmeasuringproceduresanddefinitionsofshapecharacteristics.Theseproceduresprovidedefinitionsandmeasuringtechniquesofshapecharacteristics.Theintentionofthesedefinitionsandmeasuringpracticesisnottoprovideadimensionalspecificationforshapecharacteristics,butrathercommonprocedure(s)forquantifyingshapeanomalies.1.1Shapeisasignificantqualitycharacteristicfortinmillproducts.Plate-shapeisaffectedbymillprocessfactorsplusthetemper,thicknessandwidthofthematerialsupplied.Itisthepurposeofthispracticetodefineaccuratelythedifferentplateshapecharacteristicsandtodescribethepractice(s)mostcommonlyusedtomeasureparticularcharacteristics.1.2Quantitativelimitsarenotaddressedandshouldbeestablishedonanindividualproduceranduserbasis,whereappropriate.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherin-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththisspecification.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
