【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsofrailwaywheelsforuseonEuropeannetworks.Foursteelgrades,ER6,ER7,ER8andER9aredefinedinthisstandard;forEuropeanfreightwagoninteroperabilitypurposesonlygradesER6,ER7andER8areapplicable.NOTE1GradeER6isnotnormallyfitforthedutyofapplicationtofreightwagons;itisnormallyappliedinlowaxleloadsituations.Certaincharacteristicsaredefinedaccordingtoacategory1oracategory2.Category1isgenerallychosenwhenthetrainspeedishigherthan200km/h.Freightvehiclesrunningatspeedslowerthan200km/hgenerallyusewheelsofCategory2.Thesecategoriescansometimesbesubdivided,dependinguponthecharacteristics.Thisstandardisapplicabletosolidforgedandrolledwheelswhicharemadefromvacuumdegassedsteelandhaveachilledrim.TheyaretohavealreadybeenusedincommercialconditionsonaEuropeannetworkinasignificantquantity,ortohavesatisfiedatechnicalapprovalprocedureaccordingtoEN13979-1fortheirdesign.NOTE2Thedefinitionofotherwheelsmaybefoundinotherdocuments,suchasUICleafletsorISOstandards.NOTE3Thetechnicalapprovalprocedureisnotwithinthescopeofthisstandard.NOTE4Rim-chilleddescribesheattreatmentoftherim,theaimofwhichistohardentherimandtocreatecompressiveresidualstressesintherim.
