【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddefinesthedataelementstobestoredwithinanintegratedcircuit(s)cardandexchangedinordertoenableintegratedcircuit(s)cardacceptingterminalstoidentifyspecificuserinterfacepreferences.Thepreferenceinformationmaybeusedbyterminalstoconfigureappropriatemethodsofcommunicatingwiththeuserduringatransactionprocess.TheEuropeanStandardalsospecifiesamechanismfortheretrievaloftheuserpreferenceinformationfromanintegratedcircuit(s)cardandforthecombinationofdataelementstoformparticularuserprofiles,throughtheassignmentofuniquetags.Formatsanddetaileddefinitionsofsingledataelementsarespecified,however,theexactmethodofstorageofdatawithintheintegratedcircuit(s)cardisoutsidethescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletothescenariowherethecardholderoperatesthecardacceptingequipment(e.g.acashdispenser,ticketmachine,vendingmachine)andtointegratedcircuit(s)cardsconformingtoISO/IEC7816andpersonalizedtotheindividualcardholder.
